The ending of my tune "A Shift West" from my performance with the Michigan Tech Jazz Ensemble this past March.
I originally wrote this piece to capture and release some life as I moved from Michigan to Utah. Now it's a tune I return to during big transitions. As I switch jobs from MSU to UM this Fall and continue to create, I'm experiencing the purpose and solace of this piece in rich new ways. Here we go!
