how to defeat spider:
1) The Meat
2) Grab the crossbow and shoot the red button.

Played in Practise mode cause I'm really bad at it when Granny is around.
And got the car ending!
And do remember, after you defeat the spider, go to the brown cupboard, open it, and grab whatever is in there.
