3lb AR15 Build
My first attempt at a light weight build & I couldn’t be happier. The complete rifle comes out under 4 pounds. Factory rifles at this weight cost no less than $3,000.
The build only cost me ~$1,200! Not bad considering I still used quality parts from @SamsonMFGPRO @FaxonFirearmsOfficial Jag Composites, Smoke Composites & others.
Some of the options are the lightest parts available but there are still some parts that are heavy.
Since posting, I have already changed out some parts to further reduce weight. Is it the lightest in the world now? No, but I’ll keep trying to get there.
