How to build with OpenZeppelin Governor. OpenZeppelin recently released the Governor contracts, a spiritual successor to Compound’s GovernorAlpha -- the de facto protocol governance on-chain. OpenZeppelin Governor is a modular set of contracts that enable the easy creation of a customizable governance system that can be tailored to any project’s requirements.
In this workshop we will look at the design of this contract; we will explain how to deploy it and set it up for operation; and we will go over the typical lifecycle of a governance proposal:
Create an OpenZeppelin Governor from scratch
Create proposals in Defender/Wizard
Vote & monitor with Tally
