This is my new single LOVE IS A LILY. I wrote it on a very calm Spring morning in Bute Park in Cardiff. The sun was up in the sky, but didn't quite break through the clouds, colouring the morning in a white-golden light. I went down to the little stream that was running through the park, put my hand into the water and watched the little ripples on the surface. It was such a serene scene, so pure and beautiful, it somehow made me feel both very sad and joyful at the same time.

Lyrics:
And when you broke me open
I saw meadows of green
little golden flowers
and children in the rain
vineyards and roses
and mornings in May
old men on benches
magnolias in the park
But love is a lily
and little do we know
we're tiny reflections
that ripple the pond
Summer and Autumn
and snowflakes in Spring
Love is a lily
and we linger on.
