Broken Age Act II | Shay | The Hexipal Puzzle
Written instructions for the wiring puzzle:
Note that the wiring is different for every game so the solution will be unique to each game too. You should use this as a guide to solving the puzzle in your game.
1. Take a pen and paper. It’s the easiest way to get through this frustrating puzzle!
2. Take a screenshot of the family photo 0:05
3. Wire your hexipal exactly, and I mean exactly as I do in the video. The direction of the wiring matters too. 5:08
4. On your paper draw a hexipal(hexagon) and number the points as shown at 5:25
5. Now place the hexipal in the charging station.
6. The hexipal will show some symbols.

7. Now get back to your paper where you drew a hexagon and assign the symbols to each point.
For example:
the symbol that appears on the upper left–assign it to 1.
Symbol on the upper right–assign it to 2.
Symbol on middle left–assign to 3.
Middle right–assign to 4.
Lower left–assign to 5.
Lower right–assign to 6
Draw these symbols on the paper next to the numbers as I have shown at 5:47
8. Remove hexipal from the station and unwire him.
9. Now take a look at the family photo which has the solution to how the hexipal symbols need to light up once we put him in the charging station.
10. You have to solve your puzzle as shown at 6:10 . For example in my game, the first symbol(upper left in the family photo) is assigned to number 5. And the second symbol(upper right in the family photo) is assigned to number 1. So I wrote 5-1. This simply means that my hexipal(in my game) needs to be wired in this order.
11. So first I click on point 5 of the hexagon and connect it to point 1. Again remember that direction matters here. Connecting 5-1 is not the same as connecting 1-5. You have to connect the points in the exact order to get the wiring to match the symbols in the family photo.
12. Then I connect point 6 to point 2. Then I connect point 4 to point 3.
13. Using this logic connect the points in the order and direction so you match the symbols in the family photo.
