“The Collegegolf app is a first-of-its-kind tool that helps connect universities and future student-athletes,” says Michael Axelsen, founder of Collegesport.us. He continues, “ “I want students to know that there is a university for everyone and the search for it doesn’t need to be as complicated as many might think. College coaches don’t look at athletic strength alone but also potential or academic accomplishments.”
New and improved features
Version 2.0 contains several new features. It allows a future student to receive notifications if a college coach visits the student’s profile or starts following them on the platform. Coaches are also able to create filters based on academic or athletic performance. And will be notified if a student inside their filter is visiting their profile. It also includes an additional notification system that keeps the future student up to date and frequently reminded of important deadlines, tests and tasks required in the college-athlete admissions process.
The calendar app Calgolf is built into the Collegegolf app which means the player is able to create their own tournament schedule and make it readily available to all the coaches. Thereby, making it easier to follow the player.
Gain access to all coaches and players
As with the previous app, students have access to all universities and golf coaches. This includes 3,900 coaches in the NCAA alone. The database is updated weekly to reflect the latest coaching staff for all universities. Today, more than 300 NCAA coaches actively use Collegegolf as a recruiting tool. WAGR and EGR rankings are also automatically updated for each student, making it easy for coaches to access the most recent information about a player in one place.

It is still free to register and get started for both a coach and a students. If you want unlimited access to all the information in the app, there will be a minor cost involved for both the student and the coach.
