Tomorrow (by 4pm PST), our officially licensed digital Rush SR for Assetto Corsa will be available at SimVendor.com/ for $3.99, or $5.99 along with our officially licensed Belo Horizonte street circuit which will be available for download on the 21st (developed alongside the Stock Car Pro series in Brazil) .

The Authentic Simulation team has worked directly with Rush Auto Works to develop one of the most accurate racecars ever produced for Assetto Corsa. The Rush SR produces 145hp at the wheels with a 11,800 RPM redline, it features a no-lift auto blip paddle-shifted sequental transmission, and the entire 1130lb (513kg) package is capable of accelerating to 60mph in 3.3 seconds. The $39,875 Rush SR redefines affordable racing with competitive series rapidly expanding across North America.

Last summer we visited the Rush Auto Works factory in Texas, where we toured the factory, took measurements, and then had a chance to test drive one of the cars in two separate test sessions at MSR Houston. The car was an incredible blast to drive, and it is always useful to drive a car before we then develop the physics.

We were provided full access to all proprietary data, including the dyno sheets, AiM data from multiple tracks and drivers, manufacturer part performance details, and CAD files. Once we programmed the car in Assetto Corsa, we then worked directly with a dozen owner-drivers who provided feedback on the beta, and helped us to refine the driving experience, default setup and options, and ensure the FFB is informative and accurate. Finally, we spent multiple hour+ long calls with the co-owner, Blair Hosie, working together on the car, to dial in such things as the tire physics code (which tire manufacturers unfortunately share so little about) so that the laptimes and driving experience of the actual Rush SR is authentically replicated in our digital version.

These two projects have been a tremendous labor of love for myself and the entire Authentic team, and we hope they are successful. It takes a big leap of faith to go and pursue official licenses and work directly with the license holders when you are ultimately developing what many will call "just a mod for AC that should be free." But we believe that the authenticity of the driving experience will speak for itself, and that a large number of the growing AC Community will want to support a studio that is trying to take modding to the next level... treating it the same as developing a serious sim racing title, and pursuing the official licenses and connections with auto manufacturers and brands to make that possible. Enjoy!
