In this recording I am installing the IPFire router operating system into a Proxmox VE virtual machine. I will be using it to act as a router for the VPN connection, from the Windows 10 vm to the Centos 7 VPN server. For the Ipfire router to work properly, I have to set up a virtual network that is separate from the main ethernet interface, so that the routing between them can be configured with the Ipfire. The Ipfire vm does not need much memory and it seemed to perform the same way as if it was installed on a real machine, so it looked as if there is not much of a performance penalty, when a virtual machine is run inside another virtual machine.
