What is Call of Duty DMZ and is it worth playing?

I decided to talk a little about the new DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) mode in the new Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, which intrigued me even at the announcement stage. Plus, it's free. DMZ is a mode that's generally connected to the game as a whole, but it can also be considered a standalone game. To some extent, of course. Some try to associate it with Escape from Tarkov, but that's not entirely true. If we're going to compare it, it's worth mentioning other similar games—Hunt: Showdown, Cycle, Hazard Zone from the latest "Bug Field," etc. While they will be fundamentally similar, it's better to talk about the differences, of which there are quite a few, and for some, this will be a plus, while for others, it's the opposite.
