Initially, I had more of a straight forward approach, where the dawn shots would basically have been the same framing as the day. While editing it together, I ended up giving my dawn sequence a horror twist. The sounds you hear in the second half of the film, staring with the dawn peek hole shot, are all the same sounds as the day shots, but reversed.
