Reverse reverb effect in Ableton Live (Quick Tutorial)
Here's how to create the infamous reverse reverb effect you've heard in countless songs and movies in Ableton Live.
Step by Step:
1. Find the dry signal for what you intend to reverse
2. Add your favorite reverb plug-in directly onto the channel you recorded on
3. Tweak Wet/Dry Mix to be at least below 50% (25% is recommended)
4. Set Decay/Time to at least 2 seconds or more
5. Reverse the audio file
6. Create a new track to record the effect onto
7. Set output of previous track to the new track (See "Printing the Effect"
8. Record the reversed reverb signal
9. Re-reverse the newly recorded audio signal
