From Beyond Prologue trailer
Well after a long hiatus working "day jobs", team SFG has kind of scattered to the winds. We still work on Game Jam games occasionally, etc. but we haven't had the finances to do any hardcore projects.
So I, William McDonald, while suffering from a prolonged stint of unemployment, found myself with a surplus of time and no resources. After playing through my old Nintendo library, between interviews, I decided to review a few of my old design documents. Reviewing my 2014 only exists on paper, magma opus, From Beyond, I realized I could adapt the single player prologue of the game into an old-school MacVenture game pretty easily. So after fleshing it out, expanding it etc. here it is; a NES port inspired MacVenture game style game. 😊
If this game is well received, I may either attempt to make the whole game as originally envisioned, or de-make the rest of the game into a similar MacVenture format. Honestly, whatever happens, will be based on public feedback.
