With profound sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Smt. Ratnaprabha Arvind Suryawanshi
(15th August 1952 – 3rd July 2025)
Beloved wife of the late Arvind Narayan Suryawanshi, a soulful singer and a man known for his big heart.
Daughter of renowned poet Smt. Kalavati and Shri Vasantrao Yeshwantrao Chawan.
A devoted mother to Smita Chawan and Awdhut Suryawanshi.
Affectionate sister to Dr. Chandrashekhar Chawan, Sanjay Chawan, Rajan Chawan, and the late Anil Chawan.
She retired as a loving and respected Principal of Kolhapur Jilha Parishad School, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, compassion, and inspiration for generations of students and educators.
Her life was one of quiet strength, grace, and unwavering love. She touched countless lives with her warmth, wisdom, and nurturing spirit. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
