Director Jessica Dempsey reaching out to people, media and organizations for help
Director Jessica Dempsey : "We want to really do something here at ASTRON that never has been done before. We want to proof them wrong. They tell us that the reason we can't get equal representation of women in science is because women aren't interested in science, or that they aren't out there or that they have better things to do with their time. I don't believe any of those things."
We are now asking people, media and organizations for help to reach out to women who are currently disadvantaged by the system and to make ASTRON a place where women have a safe included environment where they can accelerate their careers.
