We have gathered the student counsellor's greatest tips for optimizing and enhancing your own personal note taking techniques. They are:
1: Take notes to what is being said - not what is already on the slideshow.
2: Consider taking notes by hand. When you are forced to write slower, you tend to write down only the most essential.
3: Write notes directly in the PowerPoint presentation.
