Recently I have received an eviction notice effective 9/30/25. I have been in this apartment for 12 years, and the deed changed hands to a new landlord that doesn't want to keep me as a tenant.
Because I am a long-standing tenant, who has always done their best to pay their rent on time, I made a few concessions when I was suddenly unemployed early in my stay. My deposit is gone. My last month's rent is gone. And loans are out of the question.
In order to move out safely, I need $5000. This is for the first month rent, last month rent, deposit, along with all moving expenses. I don't make this much money in a month, even if I didn't pay my other bills and forewent eating. So I must turn to the charity of others for help.
