Both line-up their team in same formation usually i.e 4-3-3 . Talking offensively as well their tactics are the same (2-3-5) but there's huge difference the way their players line up in that formation.

To further add, there's a statement which is quite stuck in my mind.

This actually has been proven right as we all know Liverpool was doing quite good but they lost Uefa Champions league final to Real Madrid due to keeper errors by Karius. And this made crystal clear to Jurgen Klopp that he needs to invest in goalkeeper department. They already had Van Dijk which later on went to be nominated in Ballon d'or award as well .
Klopp has changed everything for Liverpool FC not just tactically but his strategic mind in transfers as well.
