Happy Halloween everyone! It's been far too long but I am back with a surprise Halloween treat for everyone in the form of a new series that will be full of games for those that love diving deep into lore, studying game design around folklore, or just those that want to have a mystical experience - The Digital GRIMMoire!
We are starting our series off on with one of the best folklore games of the year, if not all time. Black Book follows the story of Vasilisa, a young woman from Cherdyn, as she becomes a Znatka, a Witch, in her quest to bring her beloved back to life. A perfectly fitting story given the time of year, so if you are interested at all in the history of witchcraft, especially Russian witchcraft, make sure to draw your circles properly and then give this game a try.
