My friends had a taste for smoked bream and sent me out to get some more. I checked out a new promising spot first, saw a couple of bream, and that was it. No problem, I'll catch them where I belong. I passed the spot and it was quiet, as if the fish had never been there. I've noticed that when you promise to catch fish for your friends, it usually turns out to be a disappointment. Could it be the same today? I float downstream and catch some fish, but they're small. I check out a promising bay and then, with luck, I catch a nice tench and see a couple more. Further out from the school, I catch a couple of bream. The order is complete, it's time to warm up the smoker. Enjoy.
