Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal is an expansion pack for the role-playing game Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, developed by BioWare and released in June 2001. The game is based on the same Infinity Engine and the same Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition role-playing system, with minor modifications (the so-called 2.5 edition rules of D&D). The story follows the series' protagonist as he embarks on new adventures to determine the fate of the remaining Children of Bhaal, thus completing the famous saga. Numerous new locations (such as the Watcher's Tower) have been added, along with a large number of new quests and monsters.
