We vent out to the island of Lovund on a beautiful spring day. The island is located at the coast of Helgeland and lays a few kilometers south of the arctic circle. This island is housing a colony of Puffins and has done that for hundreds of years. The area of land which the Puffins nests on is protected by a nature reserve so that they can breed without any human disturbance. Lovund is by the way a very thriving and beautiful place. The small village there houses many nice people, a pleasant hotel, a nice pub and a museum that shows the long history of the island and the people there. My great grand mom was born here so a part of my own history is in the rocks, trees and soil of this very adventurous island.
If you want to travel here you can check out the excellent tourist information site here: https://visithelgeland.com/en/
And the pleasant Lovund hotel, which by the way has a exquisite restaurant: https://lovund.no/
Music on this video is composed and produced by me.
