Visiting Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL – A fun adventure!
Join us for a fun-filled day at Six Flags Great America on a windy and sunny day with a few clouds earlier! You can tell it’s a breezy day as the flags are beautifully flying high in the sky. The parking lot is full of school buses, and we experienced an unusual day with a long line stretching from the security checkpoints all the way to the ticket scanners!
Check out the newly made Six Flags Great America sign in front of the remodeled Columbia Carousel Reflection Pond. While most tulips have faded, a few still bloom around the park. There are also some sites ready for new construction in 2027 – any guesses what’s coming next? 🤔
We also explore most of the restaurants and the food court, sharing ideas for food and prices so you know what to expect. Today, a group event is happening, causing longer lines for some rides, while a few attractions remain temporarily closed. Most rides, however, are running and ready for action!
