I'll show you how to make your 3D printer much quieter by upgrading the mainboard and stepper motor drivers. In this video, I upgrade the mainboard on my Ender 3 to an SKR Mini E3 from BigTreeTech. The new mainboard has Trinamic TMC2209 stepper motor drivers, which is a serious upgrade from the stock mainboard, and will make the stepper motors on the printer very quiet. In addition to showing you how to do the upgrade and what the results are, I go into why the stepper motor drivers make such a big impact into the sound of the 3D printer.
