Sleepwalk - The Shadows - Cover by Old Guitar Monkey
This is my 100th video upload on You Tube, so, as a fan, I thought I had better make it a traditional Shadows tune.
Although "Sleep walk" is one of the most popular Shadows songs, strangely, I haven't put a version on You Tube until now.
"Sleep Walk" is an instrumental steel guitar-based song written, recorded, and released in 1959 by brothers Santo & Johnny Farina.
It has been also covered by the world and his dog, including...The Shadows, Stray Cats, The Ventures, Jake Shimabukuro, Amos Garrett, Kenny Vance and the Planotones, Larry Carlton, Deftones, Chet Atkins, Danny Gatton, Leo Kottke, The Sir Douglas Quintet, Jonathan Richman, Larry Berwald, and Joe Satriani.
This is my version played using Goran Tangrings great backing track.
