Retekess TR614 AM FM Shortwave Radio Review
The Retro Look of the Retekess TR614 AM FM Shortwave Portable Radio is a breath of fresh air. I love the attention to detail. A table top form factor that tunes and sounds fantastic. Equipped with a rechargeable and replaceable 18650 battery makes it very flexible. It will even run on Flat Tops with care(they suggest Protected Button Tops for safety). Retekess will have no trouble selling this receiver with its current price under $30.

Features I like about this Radio:
Rich Bass Tones from the Speaker.
Dial is Accurate.
FM Reception is Above Average.
Uses an 18650 Battery.
Built in Charger.
LED Indicators for which Band you have selected.
Headphone Audio is Decent.
MW Reception is Excellent during the Day, and Evening Hours.
Light Weight.
Classic Styling.
Dial Indicator has a Lens for the Shortwave Band.
Daytime Shortwave is Good.
Features that could be Added or Improved on:
FM Stereo on the Headphones.
Include a Higher Capacity Battery.
Overall, Retekess has a Vintage Styled Winner here! A radio with cool looks, accurate tuning, and pleasant audio. I am glad they focused on the Basics with this model, and left Bluetooth and MP3 player options for other radios.
