Hello, everyone.
Well, to start this off, you all have probably noticed that I haven't been uploading a lot of videos lately. Sure, I made the mashup a month ago, but there's been a serious lack of videos that I've made with my dolls.
I don't even take photos much anymore, and doll photography was my favorite thing to do with my dolls.
I didn't make a single completed stopmotion all summer.
I can assure you that I'm not growing out of dolls. I've just lost motivation. I WANT to do things with my dolls, I WANT to have the motivation that I used to.
I love my dolls, I love making videos, but I have absolutely no motivation. I don't want to stop doing youtube and I don't want to stop using my instagram.
The only thing I've been doing consistently recently that's doll related is sewing for my etsy.
I guess the point that I'm trying to get at is, I have no motivation to do anything doll related. I want to make stopmotions so badly and find the love i used to have for my dolls again.
I'm going to be taking a little hiatus from YouTube. I don't know how long it will last, but I can promise you I'll be back by the time my school year ends for summer at the very least.
My goal for this summer is to make five good length stopmotions, and put out seven videos minimum.
I just need some time to reconnect with my dolls.
I'm going to continue being active on my instagram, and try to take more photos to start this little process of reconnecting with my dolls.
This isn't goodbye. This won't lead to a goodbye. I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.
