Steyr Scout at the range
Shooting my new Steyr Scout in .308 paired with the Vortex Razor HD Gen III 1-10x24 FFP. A very light rifle: Jeff Cooper's ideal scout rifle concept comes to life with this one. I don't much care for the forward scope idea, but I think optics have come far that a light 1-10x 35mm tube LPVO really makes this rifle shine. Honestly, I'd be more on board with the forward scope if this thing had a charger bridge for stripper clips, but a backup magazine in the stock works too :)
That said, it's not as smooth as I'd have hoped: running the bolt on M80 ball seems to be fairly sticky so I'm not sure if it's the ammo or the gun needs breaking in.
