I have a feeling this will get nerfed in some way as I do not believe it is intended. I would not suggest investing into a Gara build suited for this unless you're okay with this most likely being nerfed in the near-ish future.
I had to render this video four times because of an audial artifact near the end. I couldn't fix it so I had to resort to a bruteforce method and now the video quality suffers and the end is also slightly awkward at one point. Zzzzzzz.
A BiS riven (again, would not suggest dropping plat for this seeing as how it is likely to be nerfed) for a status Gara would be:
Melee Damage
Status Chance
Initial Combo (Only if not manually maintaining 12x combo)
And any negative except slash.
