Interim PEEK implant supported fixed prosthesis
Traditional Interim denture during lengthy implant treatment presented numerous challenges in function, aesthetics and patient compliance. Alternatives materials and processes are research and develop to overcome this challenges. A fixed PEEK interim implant prosthesis that can be inserted and retained by special designed healing abutments can improve this process. All the procedures and process are done in the lab and the insertion is one step, in a fraction of time and without any additional intra-oral procedures or intermediate components. Preliminary results indicated PEEK can be used on a long-term or permanent basis.
