In the American Citizens Toolkit (ACT) Program, high school students have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Constitution. They engage in team building exercises along with learning about the six big ideas of the Constitution: Limited Government, Republicanism, Checks & Balances, Federalism, Separation of Powers, and Popular Sovereignty. The purpose of the ACT Program is to provide students with the knowledge they need to interpret the Constitution individually and incorporate it into their daily lives.
