Building Dead Metal - Episode 10 - The Final Furlong
Here it is, Episode 10. The last episode of the Dead Metal video build diary! It was some build, keeping me well occupied throughout the summer months of 2020, and it was a blast (if sometimes pressured and a little stressful).
The episode covers wiring up the saw controls, fuse and LED, finishing off the saw cowl and testing the pneumatics prior to taking it down to a local industrial estate for a full operational test, then closes with a nice montage of some of the pictures I took throughout the build.

Hopefully it has given an interesting insight into how a project like this goes from idea to implementation, and perhaps offered some glimpses into ways to approach builds for those of you who are looking to get into, or are already into, robot combat building.
