The Maruti Suzuki Jimny was first time showcased in India at 2020 Auto Expo which attracted a lot of auto enthusiasts, Internationally it is available with 03 door option but in India, same is expected to launch with 05 Door Options, Maruti has started production of Maruti Jimny in India which they can export outside of India, also by Second half of 2021 Maruti is planning to start selling All New Maruti Jimny 2021 in India, It is expected to be priced from Rs 10 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). The India-spec model is likely to be offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with the choice of a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. Its output would likely remain the same at 105PS and 138Nm. With Maruti working on bringing back its 1.5-litre diesel engine in the BS6 era, it could be an option for the Jimny too. Maruti will likely offer a 4x2 drivetrain on the India-spec Jimny.
