WHBQ News Montage (1994)

Channel 13 in Memphis had a rather piss-poor newscast in 1994 that knocked off KCRA’s look at the time as well. In fact back then WHBQ only aired news at 6:00 and 11:00, and had a lackluster news staff. It wasn’t till Fox (and eventually, Cox 20 years later), that things turned around for them. Someone at Adams Co. possibly thought “I’ll have what they’re having.”
And if you ask about me doing Memphis compilations, I’m really not a fan of that market. Idk, their stations just don’t strike me as much as markets like Minneapolis or Cincinnati did. Add to that what I just said in the above paragraph, too.
