Skulloton is a collaborative album and boom bap passage from emcee Oak Lonetree and rap pioneer/producer Insight The Truncator (Insight). The two joined forces in Malden, MA through a mutual friend, Yukonn MC. “It honestly all came together at the right time in both Insight’s life and mine. Everything flowed nicely from the beginning. I do believe there’s a vibe on this album and sonically it’s quite a ride. Insight provided some classic unused beats he’s had in the stash from as far back as the late 90s, to making brand new joints on the spot. I’ve always enjoyed and thrived doing impromptu songs so it was cool to be able to use that method on this album. I think the avid hip hop listener will be intrigued right from the start as the album maneuvers through their speakers” says Oak ”
