In this quick Adobe Premiere Pro tutorial, we show you how to blur faces using the Ellipse Mask tool and Gaussian Blur.

To blur a face in Premiere:

1. Select the Mask Tool (Ellipse works best for faces)
2. Draw the mask over your subject
3. Add Gaussian Blur to the clip
4. Track the selected mask forward
5. Manually adjust the mask path if needed

You can refine the blur by adjusting:
• Feather
• Expansion
• Blur intensity
• Mask opacity

This technique is especially useful when working with client permissions, filming in public, or protecting identities in documentary-style projects.
