What is the future of DMZ? Will MW3 Zombies replace DMZ? Will DMZ continue to be supported in Modern Warfare 3? All of these questions have been asked since the reveal of Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, a new squad based extraction mode very similar to DMZ. With the focus on the new Call Of Duty title coming out, many are wondering what the future holds for the fan favorite DMZ mode in Warzone.
Since its humble beginnings, DMZ has gained popularity and a diehard fanbase all its own. Streamers, casuals, and hardcore CoD players alike have all come to the mode for their own reasons. Infinity Wards passion project has grown into its own identity, while still also being in "Beta". However, with the lukewarm reception to MW2 and the hype train rolling for MW3 already...what is the future of DMZ mode?
