Cinematic Mavic Air Footage Guide
In this one I cover all the settings and best practices to get the most out of your DJI Mavic Air or Mavic Pro. I've been looking forward to doing this one!
Here are things on the numbers side, so you can keep them for reference.
Mavic Air Settings
1. Colour set to D-Cinelike
2. Style (Custom) set to 0 Sharpness, -3 Contrast (-1 for less noise), -2 Saturation
Note: If you don't wish to colour grade your footage use the "Standard" style in D-Cinelike (0, 0, 0).
3. For controls set all EXP curves to 0.10
4. For sensitivity change Yaw Limit to 50 (leave others at their defaults).
5. Gimbal settings are 10 for pitch speed, and 20 for pitch smoothness.
6. Record at a frame rate of 24fps with a shutter speed of 1/50th. I don't recommend shooting at 30fps unless you need to work with a 30fps timeline. Remember to avoid using auto white balance, as it may shift your colour during shooting.
