"A Guide to Tactical Data Engagement" kickoff webinar
More than 100 cities across the country have passed open data policies. As part of the What Works Cities project, the Sunlight Foundation has worked with nearly 40 U.S. cities to create these kinds of policies, expanding public access to information about the work of local governments.
Now, we’re excited to help cities take the next step in this work. Governments can go beyond making public data accessible and proactively work with residents to put open data to use.
On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, Sunlight launched the official first edition of "A Guide to Tactical Data Engagement," our new resource to help cities facilitate the impactful use of open data by collaborating with communities. As part of the launch we hosted a kickoff conversation about the guide and the tactical engagement process.
