Abztract had the opportunity to speak at an event and be able to connect with others on the relationship between hip hop and the communality, as well as with the justice system.
The conversation dove into what type of influence the genre has on a community, as well as how it has been weaponized and leveraged to disrupt progress when the origin of hip hop was about storytelling and escaping the harshness of reality.
