If you are considering doing the Cliffhanger Trail. You should watch this video first. A lot of people in our group said, "If I had known it was going to be this rough, I wouldn't have come."
This trail is RATED 7, it is extremely hard, dangerous and scary. It has the "Cliffhanger Drop," where you navigate large rocks down a steep grade, as you look off of a cliff several hundred feet up. IT IS A CLIFF HANGER. You navigate back up it coming out.
The challenges you encounter going into the trail, at the beginning, are your exit challenges THIS IS NOT A LOOP TRAIL. You come out exactly the way you went in. All the things you climbed going one way, you will navigate down coming out, what you went down, you will climb. If you have fear of heights, you may want to choose another trail. We all had a great time, and all tested our prowess.
