How to Enable Developer Mode Meta Quest 2 in 2022!
This video will be a quick tutorial on how to enable developer mode for your Quest 2. If this video helped you out, be sure to like the video and consider subscribing!
The first step is to create a developer account online (First Link).
You can create your account through Facebook or with an unmerged oculus account. Keep in mind, that you may be watching this video after August of 2022, which means instead of a Facebook account, you will be using your Meta Account! After you create an account, grab your smartphone and download the Oculus App. After the download is complete, sign in with the developer account you just created, onto the Oculus App. Turn on your Quest 2 VR headset and connect it to your phone. If it doesn’t connect automatically, you can go to the menu tab on the bottom right and tap on the devices button. Here, you can search for your headset and connect to it. If you’re still having trouble connecting, try rebooting your Quest 2 prior to connecting through the app. Once your Quest 2 is connected, Go to the Menu tab here, scroll down to developer mode and turn the toggle on.
