Hemisphere
Hemispheres are half spheres.
Horizontally, our planet is divided by the parallel of the equator, dividing the Northern (or Northern) Hemisphere and the Southern (or Southern) Hemisphere.
Vertically, our planet is divided by the Greenwich Meridian, which divides the planet into the Western (or Western) and Eastern (or Eastern) Hemispheres.
