Memorial for Jerry Ceis Feb. 2, 2013
A memorial for West Seattle's Jerry Ceis was held Feb. 2, 2013 at the Alki Bathhouse. Ceis was a sailor, Seafair Pirate, adventurer, story teller and friend to many in West Seattle and his memorial was attended by more than 80 people. A presentation of photos from his life was shown accompanied by a recording of poems made by Jerry. The poems included The Men who don't fit in, The Wanderlust, The Shooting of Dan McGrew, and others.
