Speed and Velocity
Speed is a the rate at which an object travels a certain distance. Whereas velocity is the rate at which an object changes position. The main difference between speed and velocity is that speed is a scalar (a measurement that does not includes a direction) while velocity is a vector (a measurement that includes a direction).
