Faster GPU Decoding in Premiere Pro for H.264/HEVC media
In the recently released version of Premiere Pro, Adobe has added GPU-accelerated hardware decoding for H.264/HEVC media. This means anyone with a discrete GPU (and who doesn't?) will have much better experience editing with H.264 and HEVC footage.
Matt Bach demonstrates what this means for you by loading up a few 4K H.264 and HEVC clips from a GoPro 7, iPhone 11, and DJI Mavic 2 drone to show exactly what this new feature has to offer.
