This video runs through the process of installing a multipoint lock into a timber door.
The door handle wasn’t installed in this video as the customer was still undecided as to which one they wanted and the setting out is different between the handle ranges and I didn’t want holes where I didn’t need them. Definitely best to wait....

00:00 Lay the lock on the door and transfer marks around the door.
00:06 Ensure the top and btm shoot bolts are flush..
00:09 Lock in unlocked position and mark for cutting.
00:19 Transfer marks to the front of the lock
00:21 Cut to length
00:34 Check cut
00:41 Transfer earlier marks
00:50 Install Selected cutter into selected router
01:01 Attach router jig/fence
01:11 Set cut depth

01:47 Rout deeper sections
02:38 Check fit and adjust if necessary
02:46 Mark out and cut the top and bottom rebates
