On the evening of December 9th, 2023, a large explosion rocked the Nashville-Henderson-Gallatin metro area. This was due to a large and deadly tornado, which impacted an electrical substation. This was part of a larger and devastating tornado outbreak, mirroring that one ones like Mayfield on December 10-11, 2021. Today we will analyze and understand what occured during the Nashville 2023 Explosion.
