Here's how you connect your Airpods to your PlayStation.
This works for both PS4s and PS5s.
You may have started off by trying to connect it through the Bluetooth built into your PlayStation.
However, if you did this you were met with a message letting you know that it's not compatible.
So then how do we get around this?
For this you are going to need this seven dollar adapter right here.
I'll leave a link to this pinned in the comments.
Inside the box you get two things.
The first one is a little microphone you need to plug into your controller because unfortunately, you can't use the built-in mic to your earbuds or headphones.
The other thing is a little USB device that you need to plug into your PlayStation.
Once you have this plugged in, it will immediately start to flash.
You want to wait for it to flash about five times before actually moving on, just to give it some time to boot up.
After it's flashed five times.
You can then hold down the button on this adapter for three seconds.
This will change the light from flashing slowly, to flashing rapidly.
This means it has now entered pairing mode.
Now you want to go over to your AirPods open the case and then press and hold the back button for about five seconds.
Once you've done this the light should start flashing white letting you know, it's now in pairing mode.
Now, you can let go of the button and just keep the AirPods in range of the adapter and it should connect automatically.
You'll know it worked when you see both of the lights stop flashing.
The AirPod's LED will turn green and the adapter will turn solid blue.
If you successfully connected it, however you still can't hear any of the audio, there may be some settings you need to change.
I have a separate video on this that you can view right here or check out the link in the description.
