An overnight hike to the Hilton Lakes in the Eastern Sierra in the John Muir Wilderness. The trail was sandy and rough, the elevation starts at about 9500 or so and ends at about 10.3. It is about a 6 mile hike or 5 depending on what lake(s) you go to. The trail is an up and down type trail with no real sustained elevation gain. Pack light because if you run a ruck like me you might die on the trail. My set up is way too heavy.
